This will be a casual picnic / hang out right by the river. We'll have food, drinks & some other surprises!
There is also a GORGEOUS 3 mile "Farewell Bend River Trail" loop that you can walk or run. Start at the Farewell Bend Picnic Shelter and head towards the Reed Market bridge. You will go under the bridge & walk along a trail on the side of the Deschutes. At about 1.5ish miles you will cross a bridge over the river ( you can't miss it - you can't go any further!) & walk back along the other side of the river. There will be a bridge that brings you right back to the picnic area.
WE RECOMMEND WALKING THE FAREWELL BEND LOOP BEFORE THE PICNIC! But you can of course do it whenever. :)
Please arrive at the High Desert Museum at 5:30PM. We will be starting our ceremony at 6PM sharp, so please plan to arrive early.
The ceremony & the cocktail hour will be outside and the reception will be indoors.
We suggest bringing a jacket and/or layer because we will be outside from 5:30pm - 7:30pm.
We are excited to have whoever wants to join in, dance with us for our last dance at the wedding, which will appropriately be to “Last Dance” by Donna Summer.
No pressure at all. If you want to join us - awesome. If you don’t - awesome. And even if you don’t learn it before & want to join us that night, awesome as well. The goal of this is not perfection - it’s for all of us to be on the dance floor to end our evening together!
